For those of you with access to Google Earth, Keith has found an image of the school site.
"The Google Earth map quotes its vintage as 1945 but, as I moved to my home shown in 1949, and the school has foundations, it is more likely that the photo dates from 1948/49. In the image, the POW camp/school is still in place."
